Senior portraits are my personal favorite. This is a pivotal point in a young person’s life. High school senior’s tend to have a vision for how they’d like to be presented in this series of images. Helping that vision come to life is a really satisfying experience.

When it comes to days that matter, this one is huge. Capturing a wedding day is a huge responsibility and one i take very seriously. Every couple has a unique style and their own story.

Can you feel nostalgic about the present state of your town? I look around and I can imagine what my little town will look like in 10 years. No more sagging power lines, old structures removed and replaced with more modern versions. I think where we are from matters, it’s part of us. A part I’d like to preserve.

It’s a joy to find beauty where we reside. Sometimes the place we live is visually chaotic, a mess, a reminder of all those things we need to do but sometimes we see something that looks as good as home feels.

Each human brings their own unique energy to a photoshoot. In my experience capturing a person’s essence is even more satisfying than technical perfection.
